A real day off

Finally, yesterday we had an actualy day off! I wanted to tell you all about it so you don't think that my life is all about weddings and people getting sick and dying.

We slept in, then made a yummy breakfast of waffles with fresh peaches out on the deck. After that, J. cleaned the kitchen while I did some laundry and chatted with maladictah on the phone. We had lunch at the local park, sat around a little, then took a nap. In the evening, we went out and saw Batman Begins, which was a pretty good show.

All in all, it was a very calm and refreshing day. We both needed a break. We didn't run any errands, we didn't visit any family members, and our time was only our own. Bliss!
